SPG can make any child’s day extra special. Why not book us to host a party? With 5 thrilling sports and activities to choose from, our Parties are the perfect for energetic 5 – 11 year old sports fans!
We take a group of excited, high-energy children and put them in a sporting arena (indoors or outdoors), with an equally excited sports coach! We then add lots of fun sports props (provided) and divide the children into four equal and well-matched teams ready to do battle to see who will be crowned the party champions!
Simply choose your 6 – 7 favourite sports to play!


Basketball

Two teams aim to score ‘goals’ by passing and bouncing a basketball up the court to their opponent’s hoop (goal). They then try to shoot (throw) the basketball into the hoop to score a goal. The team with the most goals wins.

Ages 5 - 11


Baton Relay Race

A member of each team races around a running track (created from cones) whilst holding a coloured baton. Once back, they then pass the baton on to a team member and the race continues like this until the first full team back wins.

Ages 5 - 11


Discus

Each team member takes in turn to throw a child’s training discus (round Frisbee like object) as far as they can down the venue. The team with the furthest throw wins.

Dodgeball

Two teams race to pick-up 3 soft balls and then start throwing them at each other in an attempt to strike an opposing team member who is then out. The team with the last players remaining wins.

Football

Two teams aim to score ‘goals’ by passing and dribbling a football up the pitch to their opponent’s net (goal). They then try to shoot (kick) the football into the net to score a goal. The team with the most goals wins.

Hockey

Using plastic hockey sticks, two teams aim to score ‘goals’ by passing and dribbling a lightweight hockey ball up the pitch to their opponent’s net (goal). They then try to shoot (hit) the ball into the net to score a goal. The team with the most goals wins.

Ages 6 - 11


Javelin

Each team member takes in turn to throw a child’s training javelin (long foam tube with mini wings) as far as they can down the venue. The team with the furthest throw wins.

Kwik Cricket

Using a plastic cricket bat, each team member takes it in turn to hit a lightweight cricket ball as far as they can after it has been bowled (gently thrown) at them. This is so that they can then make as many ‘runs’ as possible in the time it takes for the fielding team to retrieve the ball. The team with the most runs wins.

Netball

Two teams aim to score ‘goals’ by passing a netball up the court to their opponent’s net (goal). They then try to shoot (throw) the netball into the net to score a goal. The team with the most goals wins.

Obstacle Relay Course

Two teams pair up to compete against the other two teams in a hilarious obstacle relay race using jumping sacks, egg & spoons, hurdles and bouncy space hoppers!

Penalty Shoot Out

Each team member takes it turn to shoot (kick) 2 – 3 footballs at a goal in an attempt to bypass the goalkeeper and score a ‘goal’. The team with the most goals wins.

Rounders

Using a foam rounders bat, each team member takes it in turn to hit a lightweight rounders ball as far as they can after it has been bowled (gently thrown) at them. This is so that they can then run around four posts to make a ‘run’ in the time it takes for the fielding team to retrieve the ball. The team with the most runs wins.

Sprint Running Race

A member of each team races in a straight line over a set distance as quickly as they can, so that they are the first to cross the finish line. The team with the most first place positions wins.

Ages 5 - 11


Standing Long Jump

Each team member takes in turn to jump from a standing position as far forward as they can. The team with the furthest jump wins.

Ages 5 - 11


Tug of War

Two teams’ hold one end of a thick Tug of War rope. They then pull the rope backwards in an attempt to drag their opponents across a line. The team that drags their opponents across the line wins.
